I can’t believe today is the last day of August – the summer flew by! Here are a few things that I’ve heard….

From multiple sources….Hawaii associate head coach Walter Roese has resigned to pursue other opportunities outside of basketball. Roese coached the Brazilian junior national team this summer and is rumored to be returning to Brazil to join the family business.

I can confirm that Matt Hilton has been hired as the second assistant at Shippensburg University. Hilton graduated from Ursinus College this past spring where he was an all-conference player.

I can also confirm that LeVon Barnes was officially hired at Lackawanna College as an

assistant. He was formerly an assistant at Prairie View University and Cedar Valley College. He has also worked with the DC Assault AAU and SW Elite AAU.
