A bunch of things that I’ve heard…

• Chris Gardner has been named as the interim head coach at Kankakee CC (IL).  He replaces Julian Springer who recently became the AD at Malcolm X. College (Chicago).  Last year was Gardner’s first at KCC – he was an AAU coach before that.

• A bunch of DI staffers involved with the open assistant position spot at Vermont Academy.  The guys that are interviewing this week are: Dustin Dobbs (assistant DBO Fairfield), Wade Smith (video coordinator/grad assistant Georgetown), Ford Higgins (head manager Davidson), and Randy Casey (New England Playaz 16U AAU head coach).

• Last week, I mentioned that Chris Potash was no longer the head coach at Penn State Abington (DIII Dirt: Penn State Abington).  I can now confirm that he will become the associate head coach at Bryn Athyn College (PA).  The official announcement will come shortly.

• Bluefield State assistant Coach Andre Jacobs has been hired as the Head Boy’s Basketball Coach at Cedar Key School. He served as BSC’s assistant during the 2014-15 season.
