A bunch of things that I’ve heard over the past few days…

• I have heard that phone interviews will take place at DIII Marywood University (PA) today and tomorrow.  The names that I have heard who will be interviewing are: Kevin Clark (head coach Lackawanna College), Enrico Mastroianni (former head coach Georgian Court), Mark Seidenburg (assistant coach Messiah College), Jon Showers (assistant coach Marywood), Adam Van Zeist (assistant coach Albright).  It sounds like candidates will be asked five questions, and have the chance to ask one.  More on this as I hear it…

• Kyle Blackbourn has resigned as the head coach at Delta College (MI), and will become an assistant at DII Rockhurst (MO).  Carlos McMath has been named as the interim head coach at Delta.  Last season was Blackbourn’s first at DC, he was an assistant at Benedictine College before that.

• I have heard that Westfield State (MA) assistant Walter Mfuko will depart and join the staff at the MacDuffie School (MA).  Both Mfuko and MacDuffie head coach Jacque Rivera both graduated from Elms College (MA).  Mfuko is also the founder and director of D.R.E.A.M Elite

• Staying in New England…on Monday, I mentioned that Brian Caira has been named as an assistant at Salem State (MA).  I can now confirm that head coach Chris Harvey has also added former Memphis standout Antonio Anderson to his staff.  Anderson played at Memphis from 2005-2009, and has played in the NBADL and overseas until 2013.  Last season, the Massachusetts native worked as an assistant at DIII Wheelock College (MA).
