A couple of quick hitters to start the week…
• From a great source…I have heard that the new head coach at Daemon College (NY) will be Medaille (NY) head coach Mike MacDonald. He will replace Don Silveri who was abruptly fired last week. MacDonald has been the head coach at Medaille for the past eight seasons, and also spent eight years as the head coach at Canisius. He has won 257 games in his career (149-73 at Medaille). I have heard that the official announcement will be made tomorrow. I have also heard that current Medaille associate head coach Mike Berkun will be the leader to replace MacDonald.
• I have heard that Wheeling Jesuit University will add Jesse Wukasch as an assistant coach. He was most recently the graduate assistant at Bethany College (Wva), and has also worked in an administrative role at Southern Mississippi. He will replace Andrew Bobalik who I have heard will be returning to his native Ohio for a job there.
