A couple of quick hitters…

• Yesterday, I blogged about the final four candidates at Clarion University (http://hoopdirt.com/blog/bd4511e4/clarion-pa-dirt/…). I can now confirm that Eastern Michigan assistant Kevin Mondro has withdrawn his name from consideration. The other three candidates are still in play, and a decision is expected any day. I will post more as I hear it.

• I have heard from a great source that the vacant Coordinator of Basketball Operations position at Stony Brook will most likely be filled by a former player. I have heard that there is a very small chance that he won’t accept the position, and it will be made official sometime after 10/3.
