A bunch of things as September winds down…

I can confirm through multiple sources that Southern Illinois DBO Ken Moses will be added as an assistant to Danny Sprinkle’s staff at Montana State. Last season was Moses’ first at SIU after spending two seasons as an assistant at NJCAA D1 Missouri State West Plains. He has also worked at CSU-Pueblo and Nebraska-Kearney. He will replace Shawn Dirden who departed the MSU staff earlier this month to enter the private sector.

Missed this one from earlier this month…former Canisius head coach Tom Parotta has been named as an assistant at Columbia. He had most recently been an assistant at Fairfield and Fordham. The official release from Columbia can be found HERE.

Former URI standout Jimmy Baron has joined the staff at IMG Academy (FL) as the head skills coach. The 2009 URI grad scored 1,765 during his career with the Rams, and has been playing professionally overseas for the past 11 seasons.

Mike Constantino has been named as an assistant at D3 WPI. Constantino had been serving as an assistant at St. Bernard’s HS (MA), and also worked with the Mass Elite (AAU).

Las Positas College (CA) has added Anthony Gonzalez and Everson Lacerda to their men’s basketball staff. Gonzalez was the lead assistant at Prolific Prep (CA) last year, and Lacerda had most recently been the head coach of a semi-pro team in the Bay Area.
