Daily Dirt II – 5/10/17

Been a busy day, just catching up on a few things since I published the first Daily Dirt earlier today…

  • In DDI, I mentioned the search at Presbyterian. I can now confirm that current Presbyterian Interim Head Coach John Reynolds is in the final group of three, and will interview tomorrow. He has been on the Blue Hose staff for the past four seasons and was at Delta State before that.

  • I have heard from a great source that St. Bonaventure assistant Jerome Robinson will join Paul Weir’s staff at New Mexico. Robinson, who had been on the Bonnies staff since 2014, has also worked at Eastern Michigan. He and Weir are both from the Toronto area.

  • Southwest Mississippi CC assistant coach Andy Farrell has been hired in administrative role at Dayton. He began his career as a manager at Dayton (2003-07) before stops at VCU, Clemson, and DePaul. An official announcement is expected shortly.

  • Penn State New Kensington head coach Art McCray was forced to resign his position today. A former player at New Kensington, McCray was named as the head coach back in February 2013. He has also been the head coach at Summit Academy (PA).
