A couple things that I’ve heard at the end of the day….

Lots of rumors circulating about Penn State and Boston University head coach Pat Chambers. Some are reporting that it is a done deal with Chambers, but as of right now, I’ve heard that it is down to him and Milwaukee’s Rob Jeter. Duquesne’s Ron Everhart has officially withdrawn – that probably means he’s been told he didn’t get the job, so an offer may have been made.

Birmingham-Southern head coach Mitch Cole has resigned and will accept a spot on the staff at Texas A&M. Cole had been at Birmingham-Southern since 1995, and was named head coach as they began the transition from DI to DIII.
