HoopDirt.com can confirm that UMKC has parted ways with head basketball coach Kareem Richardson. The Roos are already moving quickly here, as DHR has been hired to aid in the search.

Richardson was hired at UMKC back in 2013. During his tenure, he compiled a 74-117 record, including an 11-20 mark this season.His best season came in 2017-18 when the Roos went 18-17.

Richardson’s contract runs through the 2021 season after inking an extension in 2016.
