HoopDirt.com has learned that Dr. Jody King is no longer the head basketball coach at Mercy College (NY). King had been the Mavericks head coach for the past three seasons where he compiled a 23-58 record. He has also been the head coach at Hostos CC (NY), and SUNY Maritime. No official announcement has been made yet on why King is not returning.

I have also heard that Mercy College assistant coach Brandon Cosby will become an assistant at Miami Dade College (FL). Last season was his first at Mercy. He had been a HS and AAU coach before that.
