I can confirm that Northern State assistant Sundance Wicks will be named as the new head basketball coach at Missouri Western. An announcement is expected as early as tomorrow. He will replace Brett Weiberg who resigned back on March first.
Wicks, is a NSU alum who has worked at his alma mater for the past two seasons. The Wolves went 36-4 this past season, and lost in the DII National Championship game this past weekend. Wicks has also worked at Colorado, Northern Illinois, San Francisco. He began his career coaching as graduate assistant at NSU under the legendary Don Meyer for two seasons (2004-06).
More on this when it becomes official.
