Some DIII assistants on the move…

• I can confirm that Babson College (MA) full-time assistant Sean Burton is headed to Ithaca College (NY) in a similar role.  Burton spent the past two years on Stephen Brennan’s staff at Babson, and was part of this past seasons NCAA DIII Final Four team.  The Ithaca grad was a two-time All-American and Empire 8 Player of the Year. He also ranks third on Ithaca’s all-time scoring list with 1,736 points.

• I have heard that Marietta College (OH) assistant Michael Kenney will become an assistant at Allegheny College (PA).  Kenney is a former manager at Dayton who has been at Marietta for the past four seasons.

• After spending two seasons as an assistant at MIT, Sean Spellman has departed to become the assistant athletic director at The Roxbury Latin School (MA).  He will also be an assistant coach for the basketball, baseball, and football programs.
