I have heard from multiple sources that there are two moves that have been made in the great state of Massachusetts. It sounds like both of these will be made official with in the next few days…
Curry College – I have heard that Wheelock College head coach Matt LeVangie is the choice to replace Malcolm Wynn here. LeVangie, who took over as the head coach at Wheelock midway through the 2011 campaign, compiled a 21-70 record during his tenure at the Boston school. He has also been an assistant at DII Stonehill College, DIII Lasell College, and associate head coach at his alma mater, University of Mary Washington.
Wheelock College – With the departure of LeVangie to Curry, I have heard from a great source that assistant coach Mike Pollio will be elevated to the position of head coach at Wheelock. Pollio joined the Wildcats staff prior to last season after spending two seasons before that as the GA at Western Kentucky. He was a student assistant at Georgetown (KY) for two seasons, and also worked at two Kentucky high schools. His father Mike is the former head coach at VCU, Eastern Kentucky, and Kentucky Wesleyan.
