I can confirm that Rivier University (NH) head coach Dave Morissette has resigned and will enter the private sector in January. Morissette was in his 18th season as the head coach of the Raiders – he wraps up his career with a 170-276 record at the school. His best season came in 2006-07 when his squad won 20 games and captured the GNAC Championship. Morissette, who began his career as the head basketball at Notre Dame (NH), was also the softball coach at Rivier for the past five seasons. I have heard that assistant coach Lance Bisson will coach the team in the interim. He is a 2009 Rivier graduate who scored 1,223 points in his career. More on this when it becomes official.
