Multiple sources have told me that Army assistant Brandon Linton will be hired as the new head basketball coach at DIII Nichols College (MA). He will replace Scott Faucher who became the head coach at DII Assumption College (MA) earlier this spring.

Linton joined the Army staff back in 2014. He has also worked as an assistant at Bowdoin College, and his alma mater Clarkson University.

Last season, Nichols finished 28-3 and advanced to the NCAA DIII Elite Eight.

An official announcement is expected shortly.
