Eric Dougal has been named assistant men’s basketball coach for the Pioneers, University of Wisconsin-Platteville head coach Jeff Gard announced Thursday.

For the last five years, the Janesville, Wisconsin native has been an assistant coach at Manchester College, where he was involved with all aspects of the Spartans’ men’s basketball program. He served as the team’s recruiting coordinator, plus he was involved with scouting, travel planning, academic advising, budget planning and implementation, as well as NCAA compliance.
