End of the night "Dirt"

A few things to close out the day….

Duane Broussard, the DBO at New Mexico, will be elevated to assistant coach to replace Wyking Jones. Broussard has been at New Mexico for the past nine seasons – the past three as the DBO for Steve Alford, and the six before that as an assistant to Ritchie McKay.

More dirt on the Eastern Michigan staff – it sounds like new head coach Rob Murphy is also considering WKU Director of Player Development Kip Wellman for a spot on his staff. Wellman was a graduate manager at Syracuse for 4 years where he worked with Murphy.

Former St. Michael’s head coach Tom O’Shea has accepted the job as St. Johnsbury (VT) Academy’s basketball coach. O’Shea spent 13 years as St. Michael’s head coach before stepping down at the end of the 2009-10 season. He SMC’s all-time leader in wins with 176.

More tomorrow on the searches at the Georges – Mason and Washington.
