The Fairleigh Dickinson men’s basketball program will conduct the Fairleigh Dickinson Men’s Basketball Coaching Clinic on Saturday, October 18th. The clinic is scheduled to run from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. inside Stratis Arena at the Rothman Center. The cost is $20 per coach or $25 per coaching staff.
The day will start with a 15-minute welcoming period, before the Knights’ team practice, which will run from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. After a brief 10-minute break, former Manhattan, Villanova & Massachusetts head coach and current CBS Sports College Basketball Analyst Steve Lappas will be a guest speaker.
Fairleigh Dickinson is lead by head coach Greg Herenda, who is entering his second season at the helm. Before coming to FDU, Herenda compiled a 95-54 as the head coach at UMass-Lowell. Prior to becoming a head coach, Herenda was the associate head coach at East Carolina (2000-05), and an assistant coach at Yale (1997-99), Seton Hall (1994-97), Holy Cross (1989-94), his alma mater Merrimack (1985-89) and UMass Lowell (1983-85).
