Foley named Assistant Basketball Coach at Eastern Nazarene

Eastern Nazarene College men’s basketball head coach Scott Polsgrove has added Sean Foley as an assistant coach.

“I am very excited about Sean joining our staff. Sean brings a wealth of experience having started coaching while he was in college and then this past year getting the opportunity to be a high school head coach,” commented Polsgrove. “Sean’s already shown that his work ethic, energy level, and passion for the game will be a huge asset for the program.”

Foley arrives in Quincy following a one-year stint as head boys’ varsity basketball coach at Eastern Technical High School in Baltimore, Maryland. He has also spent time as an assistant varsity coach and director of basketball operations at St. Paul’s School for Boys, head junior varsity coach and assistant varsity coach at C. Milton Wright High School.

He has attended numerous coaching clinics including the Jay Bilas Young Coaches Clinic, USA Basketball Academy, and Coaching for Success Clinic.

A former elementary physical educator, Foley has experience as a camp instructor and camp organizer. He has assisted with camps hosted by Shaka Smart, Mike Brey, Jay Bilas, and Seth Goldberg.

Foley graduated from McDaniel College in Westminster, Maryland with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science/Physical Education in 2015 and recently completed his Master’s degree in Kinesiology. He played two seasons on the Green Terror men’s soccer team.
