Dale Layer, who spent 13 seasons as an NCAA DI head coach, has been named as an assistant coach with the Greensboro Swarm (NBA D-League). Layer has served as the head coach at Colorado State (2000-2007) and at Liberty University (2009-2015). He also spent nine seasons as the head coach at DII Queens University of Charlotte, and owns a 352-306 career record. Layer joins Noel Gillespie’s staff for the Swarm’s inaugural season which will tip-off on November 12th.
