I have now heard from multiple sources that Furman University is set to name William Jewel College (MO) associate head coach Jimmie Williams as an assistant. He would replace Trey Meyer who departed the Paladins staff earlier this fall to become the Director of Recruiting / Player Development at the College of Charleston.

Williams, who played collegiately at MidAmerica Nazarene University (MO), received his masters from North Greenville University (SC). He had been on the WJC staff for the past three seasons and also worked Texas Wesleyan and SAGU.

An official announcement is expected shortly.
