Chad Gayle has joined the Georgian Court University Men’s Basketball coaching staff.
“I am very excited to add a coach of Chad Gayle’s caliber to our program,” stated head coach Terrence Stewart. “He is extremely well respected for his ability to develop players and has an excellent feel for the game and the student-athlete. He will bring a ton of energy to Georgian Court University. I look forward to working closely with him as he is an outstanding person, a diligent hard worker and extremely well-educated.”
Coach Gayle joins GCU after one season at Fairleigh Dickinson University Florham, where he was able to help the Devils double their win total from the previous year. Coach Gayle played a huge part with skills training, player development, and film breakdown.
Coach Gayle spent this past summer coaching the New Jersey Panthers, an up and coming AAU program filled with high level talent. He also coached at numerous college basketball camps at schools such as Columbia University, American University, Monmouth University, East Stroudsburg University, Montclair State University and more.
Prior to entering the college level, Coach Gayle served as an Assistant Coach at Phoebus High School in Hampton, Virginia from 2017-2018 working under Coach Daniels who is known as a true power house in the 757 area. Chad has also worked with the Washington Wizards and Hoop Group coaching camps and clinics at various locations.
Gayle received his Bachelors Degree in Sports Management from Hampton University in 2016.
