Dan Haddon has been added as an assistant coach with Gettysburg College men’s basketball team.
Haddon is a 2017 graduate of East Carolina University earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in sport studies with a minor in business administration. He spent the 2017-2018 basketball season interning with the Princeton men’s basketball program, as assistant to the Director of Basketball Operations. At Princeton, he assisted in breaking down film, organizing statistical projects and helping in the management of the team’s daily activities.
In addition, he assisted the Jersey Shore Warriors for the 2017-2018 AAU season. Dan also worked for the Hoop Group as a site director, setting up, organizing brackets, and performing all duties to ensure the success of the tournament. He was also one of the head runners during these tournaments.
A native of Cinnaminson, NJ, Dan was a four-year varsity basketball player at Cinnaminson High School, helping the Pirates win a Patriot division title. A two-time captain, he also earned 1st team all-division, is the 11th all-time leading scorer, and finished his career with 121 three-pointers. While at Cinnaminson he was a two-year varsity javelin thrower and helped his team win two division titles.
