Entering his third season with the VMI Basketball program, VMI basketball coach Paul Harrison has been promoted to Associate Head Coach, VMI Head Basketball Coach Andrew Wilson announced.
In his first year with the program, Harrison played a crucial role in VMI’s 15-win season during the 2024-25 campaign in addition to his coaching and player development abilities.
“Paul has been a tremendous asset to our program and was an integral part of the biggest turnaround in VMI Basketball history in his first season,” Wilson said. “He has been a winner at every stop in his career and has helped to elevate our program with his coaching ability and winning intangibles. I’m excited to continue working with Paul as we try to take the next step within the Southern Conference.”
The Keydets begin the 2026-27 campaign at home on Monday, November 2, against Virginia University of Lynchburg.
