Tommy Amaker has announced that the eighth annual Harvard Basketball Coaches Clinic will be held Saturday, Oct. 25 at Lavietes Pavilion from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This year’s event will feature a lecture and Q&A session with Boston Celtics head coach Brad Stevens. Entering his second season at the helm of the Celtics, Stevens took his position on the parquet floor after spending six seasons as the head coach of the Butler Bulldogs where he boasted a 166-49 record, four Horizon League regular season championships, three league tournament titles and six trips to the postseason.
The eighth annual Harvard Basketball Coaches Clinic will begin with opening remarks from Coach Amaker. Those in attendance will then have the opportunity to observe a Harvard basketball practice with insight and analysis from Coach Amaker. Following lunch, the day will conclude with the lecture and Q&A session with Stevens.
*** Cost for the clinic is $75 if registering by Oct. 17 and $100 if registering the week of the clinic. Included in the cost is a Nike Harvard basketball polo and buffet lunch.
