Geoff Hensley has resigned as the head men’s basketball coach at Thomas College, Director of Athletics Shanda Ness announced on Tuesday.
Hensley steps down after four seasons at the helm of the Terriers where he held a 55-52 record and a 41-31 mark in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) play. Thomas qualified for the conference tournament in all four seasons, including a trip to the NAC Championship in 2017. In addition, Thomas earned five all-conference selections with Levi Barnes for two seasons, Carlos Gonzalez for two seasons, and Tyheem Simon.
“We are very appreciative of all the hard work and dedication Geoff has shown during his four years at Thomas College,” said Ness. “There is no doubt he made a positive impact on our men’s basketball program and has built a solid foundation from which to build. We wish Geoff and his family well as he begins his new position.”
Hensley will begin his new role as the men’s basketball coach at Pennsylvania College of Technology next season.
A national search for Hensley’s replacement will begin immediately.
