The Messiah University men’s basketball team named Justin Hoshauer assistant coach after he spent the last two seasons coaching at Piedmont University. Hoshauer also spent two seasons at Messiah as a graduate assistant for the men’s basketball team from 2022-24.
During Hoshauer’s two seasons at Piedmont University as the assistant men’s basketball coach. The Lions went 23-28 during his time at Piedmont and he helped develop five All-Conference players during his time at Piedmont.
As a grad assistant at Messiah, Hoshauer oversaw position specific drills, individual skill workouts, as well as film sessions as the head of player development. Hoshauer also oversaw recruiting and head of operations working with the team’s travel, equipment, and fundraising efforts.
Hoshauer also helped out in his time as an undergraduate with the Grove City men’s basketball team. He served as a student assistant helping lead individual skill sessions, practice preparation, and film breakdown, while also playing on the JV team.
