Georgia State head coach Ron Hunter has confirmed to Fox 5 in Atlanta that he is headed to Tulane.

Hunter has been at GSU for the past eight seasons (171-95) – his team went 24-10 this season and captured the Sun Belt Conference Tournament.

Before being hired at Georgia State in 2011, Hunter had spent seventeen seasons as the head coach at IUPUI where he compiled a 274-219 record.

He is the all-time leader in wins at both schools.

The official announcement is expected tomorrow.
