Fresno State head basketball coach Justin Hutson announced that he will not be returning next season at a post-game presser following the Bulldogs season ending OT loss to #1 seed Utah State.

“I’ve talked to the administration, you know, it’s a mutual decision,” Hutson said. My contract is up in April.” Hutson also said that he will stay on and serve in an advisory role during the transition.

Fresno State President Dr. Saúl Jiménez-Sandoval then issued the following statement

Hutson went 92-94 (.495) in his six seasons at Fresno State.
