Arkansas Tech University is currently seeking applications for Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach/Assistant Compliance Coordinator. Duties will include assisting the Head Coach in all aspects of the men’s basketball program including, but not limited to, recruiting, on-floor coaching, practice and game preparation, player development, strength and conditioning, student athlete academic monitoring, scouting of opponents, and fund raising. Duties will also include assisting the Compliance Coordinator with any assignments in the area of NCAA Compliance. Bachelor’s Degree is required. Master’s Degree is preferred. The candidate must have previous coaching and recruiting experience on the collegiate level. The candidate must also have knowledge of the NCAA Division II rules and regulations, must possess an outstanding work ethic, very good oral and written communications skills, and be computer competent. The salary range will be commensurate with experience and degree. The starting date will be June 01, 2011. The position is a full time-12 month position. The position will open until April 15, 2011.
