HoopDirt.com has learned that Minot State assistant coach Jack Nelson will be named as the next head basketball coach at Central Wyoming College. He will replace Pat Rafferty who resigned back in August to become an assistant coach in the NBA D-League.

Nelson had been an assistant coach at Minot State for the past four seasons. He has also spent time at Saint Mary’s University (MN), University of Sioux Falls, and Bellevue University (NE).

An official announcement is expected shortly.
