Bruce Johnson is no longer head men’s basketball coach at Owens Community College (OH). He has been replaced on an interim basis by assistant coach Donte Davis. Owens is now on to their fourth head coach in four seasons.

Johnson was hired back in June of 2018 at OCC after a stint as an assistant coach at DIII Oberlin College. He also worked as a junior college assistant at Lakeland CC and Lorain County CC.

Davis was an administrative staffer at DI Longwood before joining Johnson’s staff last season.

I have also heard that Johnson has already landed a new gig – he has become the volunteer assistant at DII Notre Dame College (OH).
