I have been following the search at Columbia State CC (TN) for a few weeks now.  As I have reported previously, the applicant pool started at over 100.  The search was then narrowed to 12, 8, and finally down to two finalists.  I have now heard from multiple sources that the front runner here is former Jacksonville State assistant Winston Neal.  The former Georgia Tech guard worked at JU for former head coach Cliff Warren.  Neal would replace Penny Collins who became an assistant ETSU back in April.  Sounds like this could be made official shortly.
