Back on 6/5, I mentioned the finalists at JUCO Rock Valley College (IL) (DAILY DIRT). In that blog, I said that Moberly Area CC (MO) Rusty Elmore had been offered the job – and as it turns out that had accepted it.

Now, I have heard from great sources that Elmore will be returning to Moberly (personal reasons), and Rock Valley will now turn to Northwest Kansas Tech assistant coach Tim Sandquist to be their new head coach.

Sandquist joined the Northwest Tech staff back in 2016. He has also worked as an assistant at Dodge City CC (KS), Southwestern Community College (IA), and Nebraska-Omaha.

An official announcement is expected here this week.
