A couple of quickies from the JC level…
• Central Arizona has moved quickly to replace JD Pollock and has promoted assistant Tramaine Aaron to head coach. Pollock departed last week to become the DBO at UC Bakersfield (http://hoopdirt.com/news/ddde66f9/pollock-joins-cal-state-ba…). Last season was Aaron’s first at CAC, he was the GA at Berry College (GA) before that. I have also heard that Richarde McCray will be hired as his assistant. Most recently, McCray was the video coordinator at the College of Charleston.
• Mt. San Jacinto College (CA) head coach Patrick Springer has resigned his basketball position, but will remain at the school as the Athletic Director. Springer won nearly 250 games in his 11 seasons at the helm. Current assistant Trent Skinner will become the interim head coach and it sounds like he will hold that title through the season until a search can be conducted.
