Keiser University Hires Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach

Keiser Head Men’s Basketball Coach Dante Calabria has announced the addition of Matt Miller as the new Seahawks Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach. Miller will oversee the developmental team in addition to working with the guards and making scouting reports.

Prior to Keiser, Miller spent two seasons as the Graduate Assistant at the University of Arizona and a season at the University of New Hampshire. At Arizona, Miller was a part of the 2017 and 2018 Pac-12 regular season and conference tournament championship teams. In addition, he went to the Sweet 16 with the Wildcats in 2017.

Miller began his collegiate career at Seton Hill University for two seasons where he was a two-time WVIAC All-Conference player, Freshman of the Year, and a three-time Rookie of the Week award winner. As a sophomore, Miller joined the 1,000 point club. He then transferred to the University of New Hampshire for his final two seasons, earning American East Third Team All-Conference honors, and led the conference in three-point field goal percentage at 49.2 percent.

Miller earned his Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Coaching from the University of New Hampshire in 2015 and went on to complete a Graduate Certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorder Studies in 2016. Miller then received a Master’s of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Arizona in 2018.
