Kyle Cieplicki has been promoted to associate head coach on the Vermont Men’s Basketball coaching staff.
Cieplicki, a UVM alum, begins his fifth season as a member of the men’s basketball coaching staff in 2015-16. Cieplicki began his coaching career as the team’s director of operations and was promoted to assistant coach in 2011.
“I am very excited to promote Kyle to associate head coach. He has been an integral member of our program for a long time. He has done an amazing job transitioning from a UVM player to coach. He’s done a great job recruiting, coaching and supporting the program for the past four years. This promotion is well deserved,” said head coach John Becker.
In the past four seasons, the Catamounts have posted four straight 20-win seasons and advanced to the postseason four consecutive years. Vermont won an America East Tournament title in 2012 and an America East Regular Season Championship in 2014. The Catamounts have finished either first or second in the regular season standings during Cieplicki’s tenure.
