I can confirm from a great source that Lamar head coach Tic Price will promote Joey Cantafio from Director of Basketball Operations to Assistant Coach. He will replace Bobby Kummer who is headed to Mercer.

Cantafio has been on the Lamar staff for the past two seasons. He spent three years prior to that serving as the director of video and player development at Tulane.

An official announcement is expected shortly.
