Lindenwood men’s basketball head coach
Lance Randall announced the addition of
Jamison Rusthoven to the team’s staff for the upcoming 2018-19 season. Rusthoven will serve as an assistant coach for the Lions, after having spent the previous five seasons as the head coach at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota.
“Jamison is a tremendous addition to our staff,” said Randall. “He has over fifteen years of experience at the college level, including the last five years as a head coach. He is an extremely sharp tactician, a tireless recruiter, and an excellent motivator. He has worked with or for a number of my good friends over the past decade and he has been a friend of mine for ten-plus years. He is a devoted husband and father, and man of great integrity. I am looking forward to working with Jamison and having his wonderful family be a part of our lives.”
Throughout his collegiate coaching career, spanning nearly 20 years, Rusthoven has coached 27 first team all-conference players, 12 all-first-year team players, three All-Americans, while also having two players named as Conference Player of the Year and one player tabbed as the National Player of the Year.
“I am very excited be joining the Lindenwood men’s basketball family,” said Rusthoven. “I have known Coach Randall for over 10 years, so to say this is a great fit would be an understatement. Coach Randall is one of the best coaches in the game, so to learn from him and be a part of Lindenwood University is an incredible blessing. The commitment here to athletics and our student-athletes is second to none.”
