Sounds like the search at Marist is getting closer to wrapping up. I heard over the weekend that current Wagner head coach and former Marist assistant Bashir Mason had interviewed, but is no longer a candidate. I have also heard that LeMoyne head coach Patrick Beilein was on campus this weekend. The Hudson Valley Sports Report is reporting that he will be the choice to replace Mike Maker (we’re working hard to confirm). Beilein led the Dolphins to a 27-7 record this past season, and captured the NE-10 Championship. He has compiled a 59-31 record at LeMoyne in three seasons and also went 32-27 in two seasons as the head coach at West Virginia Wesleyan. More on this one as it develops.
