I can confirm that Maryland will hire Mark Bialkoski as their new video coordinator.  He had spent the previous three seasons working for Alan Major as the Director of Basketball Operations at Charlotte.  He also worked at Charlotte as a graduate manager and program assistant before that.  Expect the official announcement shortly.

Also, a quick note on the power of HoopDirt…before we posted this job on our site, Maryland had 17 applications for the position.  After we posted it, they wound up with close to 400!  Sounds like there were a ton of great applicants for this spot.  For the guys who did not get it – keep grinding!
