Mazibuko joins Lake Forest Men’s Basketball staff

Aaron Mazibuko has joined the Lake Forest College men’s basketball staff as an assistant coach.

Mazibuko has spent the last five years as an assistant high school coach, beginning with the 2016-17 season at St. Mark’s School of Texas. He then spent three years as the head freshman and assistant varsity coach at Bishop Lynch High School in Dallas, Texas. After moving to the Chicago area, he assisted at Lincoln Park High School in 2020-21.

In addition to working at the prep level, Mazibuko also has experience with club programs. He was the head coach of the Dallas Mustangs 17U AAU program during the summer of 2017 and have been involved in player development with Full Package Basketball since 2020.

Mazibuko is a graduate of St. Gregory’s University in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He played three seasons for the Cavaliers and helped lead the team to the semifinals of the 2014 NAIA National Tournament.
