Miller added at CMU

Central Michigan University head basketball coach Ernie Zeigler has announced the hiring of veteran basketball coach Pat Miller as the Chippewas’ assistant coach.

Miller, who is approaching 40 years of basketball instruction, has taught the mechanics of shooting to players at every level from youth basketball to the NBA. The longtime Northwood University head coach and athletics administrator is known for his shooting clinics that he has conducted in 36 states to thousands of coaches and hundreds of thousands of players.

His collegiate coaching stops also include Kirtland (Roscommon) Community College (head coach/athletics director) and Eastern Michigan (assistant coach), and his professional experience includes serving as the shooting coach for the 1988-89 world champion Detroit Pistons.
