Minnesota assistant coach Ben Johnson will join Travis Steele’s new staff at Xavier. Steele re-tweeted the following earlier today:

Johnson had worked for the past four seasons on Richard Pitino’s staff at Minnesota. He also spent one season as an assistant at Nebraska, and four years on the staff at Northern Iowa.

Johnson will join former Georgia assistant Jonas Hayes on Steele’s staff. Hayes’ hiring was made official today.
