Missouri State extends Ford’s contract

The Missouri State University Board of Governors formally approved the contract extension for head men’s basketball coach Dana Ford. The extension will take Ford’s deal through March 31st, 2025.

Ford, who has been the head coach at MSU for the past three seasons, has compiled a 49-40 (.551) record during his tenure. During the COVID shortened 2020-21 campaign, Ford led the Bears to a 17-7 mark, and fell to Drake on a buzzer beater in the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament semi-finals.
