Jordan Monts joins Head Coach Damien Strahorn and Assistant Coach Tyler Ackley on the coaching staff for Colby Men’s Basketball. Monts comes to Colby from Keene State College, where he had served as the Assistant Coach of Men’s basketball since 2018. At Keene State, Monts helped lead the team to an LEC regular season and conference championship and into the NCAA tournament. Monts coached a first-team All American and two first-team All Conference players while at Keene State and served as a SAAC liason. Monts has also worked with the men’s basketball program at Bethany College, where he coached three first-team all Conference players in the LEC. At Bethany, Monts helped lead the Bison to two ECAC appearances.
Monts graduated from Regis College, where he was a two-year captain and led his team to its first NECC title in 2015. Monts’ play earned him NECC tournament MVP. In his time at Regis, he was top ten in points, rebounds, and assists and was a SAAC representative.

Jordan is a tireless recruiter who connects with people, is experienced in player development and someone we believe will continue to grow in exciting ways.”
