HoopDirt.com can confirm that Craig Doty will become the next head coach at Graceland University (IA). Doty and his Rock Valley College squad captured the NJCAA DIII National Championship this past season. He compiled a 113-28 record during his four seasons at RVC, including a 33-3 mark this season. Doty also garnered the 2015-16 HoopDirt.com National Junior College Coach of the Year Award presented by the Hoop Group.  Prior to his arrival at Rock Valley College, Doty served as an Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at University of Sioux Falls (NCAA Division II).  In 2011-12, Doty was an Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Riverland Community College (NJCAA Division III).

Doty will replace Brandon Stommer who was hired earlier this spring, but returned to his position at Simpson College due to family reasons. The official announcement is expected with in the next day or so.
