Michael Hunter is no longer the head men’s basketball coach at NAIA Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College.

*UPDATE: Hunter has been named as the head coach at Shawnee State – more on that move HERE.

He took over last spring after a very successful three-year run at Lakeland CC, where he led the team to the OCCAC championship, captured the Regional XII Champion, qualified for the NJCAA national tournament, had a 20-win season and reached a No. 2 national ranking, the highest ever for the program.

This past season, Hunter led his team to a 10-17 (5-13 RSC) record.
