Nebraska AD Tweets Support for Tim Miles

Nebraska AD Shawn Eichorst tweeted his support for head basketball coach Tim Miles immediately following the Huskers season ending 76-67 OT loss to Penn State last night.

Nebraska finished the season 12-19 (6-12) Big Ten. Miles, who became the head coach back in 2012, now holds a 75-86 record at the school. In 22 seasons as a head coach, Miles has compiled a 358-306 career mark, with other stops including Colorado State, North Dakota State, Southwest Minnesota State, and Mayville State.

Following the tweet, Miles commented,

“I want to come through for Shawn. I want to come through for Husker fans. I want to validate his faith in us. We’re going to work our butts off. I’ve got an excellent staff, we’ve got a good, young corps. But for Shawn to end any speculation immediately after the season, I greatly appreciate it. It’s what he said he was going to do the whole time. They’re invested in us, and we want to see that investment pay off.”
