Been at the beach all week, but wanted to follow-up on something that I tweeted on Wednesday…

I have heard from multiple sources that North Texas assistant James Miller is the leader to replace Lou Gudino (departed for Wichita State) on Chris Jans’ staff at New Mexico State.

Last season was Miller’s first at UNT after following Grant McCasland from Arkansas State. Miller has also been an assistant at University of Nebraska Omaha and served as the head coach at New Mexico Junior College.

An official announcement is expected here shortly.
